Finally, Apple is on the verge of unveiling its latest version of the iPhone! It’s version 12 or the iPhone 12 Pro, as they are called. This latest avatar comes with an array of value added features that are likely to bring in a paradigm shift in the iPhone technology! This latest version will hit the stands in 4 models or versions –
- 5.4-inch iPhone 12
- 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max
- 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro
- 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max
All these four models are likely to come up in a design that will resemble that of the iPhone 5, with flat machines edges, but with slimmer cuts. But it is not merely the design that will be awe-inspiring. Apple assures that this latest avatar of iPhones will come up with a series of groundbreaking features and the changes are likely to range from compatibility to 5G connectivity to Apple’s very much iconic A14 Bionic Processor to LiDAR Cameras and 120Hz Display.
However, sources have suggested that the 6.7-inch and 6.1-inch versions will be high-end gadgets than the other two and will feature a triple-lens camera. The other two versions – the 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch Max models will have dual-lens cams and will have a lower price tag. All the four models will come up with OLED technology irrespective of the price along with a 120 Hz Promotion refresh rate that can be added to some of the high-end models. However, that is not yet confirmed due to constraints in battery life and it will not be until 2021 till anything can be finalised in regards to that.

Launch Date in Australia
As things stand now, the launch date for iPhone 12 in Australia has been set on 16th September with an online-only event (keeping in mind the present Pandemic condition) set to go live at 4 am Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT).
Price of iPhone 12 in Australia
When we discuss iPhone price, it’s always on the higher range, but still, that has not deterred the avid iPhone fans from vouching for these high tech gadgets. Now when it is all about the iPhone 12 price, with those state of the art features and a lot of ‘first-timers’ in the offing, the price is going to be something to be taken into account.
Though still unconfirmed, the price of the iPhone 12 is set to be AU$896, the iPhone 12 Max should be available at AU$1035, the iPhone 12 Pro should come at AU$1380. The iPhone 12 Pro Max should have a price tag of AU$1,518.
